Jerome Aubrey Harris is a lecturer in Modern Languages, Interdisciplinary Studies and Tourism Hotel Operations. He has taught French, English and IELTS Academic English in both the Middle East and
North, South and East Africa. Jerome’s academic interests are bilingualism in education, special learning needs for adults and secondary schools as well as autism. A graduate of European Studies and Modern Languages, from Southampton University, and Strathclyde Scotland, Jerome has enjoyed teaching as well as coordinating learning and developing projects in a variety of challenging situations. He has lived for most of his life in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where his family is based. He has lectured and managed tour operations in East Africa. Equally, he also wrote some academic papers on the future of tourism development in East Africa.
