HIE Higher Institute of English
Although I am still at the very beginning of my professional career since I only graduated from university in July 2022, I have had experience in different fields of work ranging from teaching English at two different language centres, to working as a marketing agent at BMCI.
I acquired my baccalaureate in 2017. I got a scholarship to study Environment & Ecology at 08 MAI 1945 University in Guelma in Algeria. I graduated with a Licence degree in 2020. Then I completed my MA in Environmental Management and Biodiversity at Farhat Abbas University (Setif – Algeria) in July 2022.
I started studying English at EBC (English Basics Centre) back in 2015, graduated early 2017, then they offered me a job teaching English there which I accepted; and that’s what I did every summer when I would come back from Algeria. In summer 2021, I got an internship at BMCI which consisted of a month-long training in marketing. I ended up working there for 2 more months as a marketing agent before going back to Algeria to finish my last year of university. Upon my return to Mauritania, I got recruited at Challenge Language Centre to teach English. Now I am very excited to be starting this new chapter of my career here at HIE.
