Louise is from Australia and has over 20 years’ experience as a Teacher and Teacher Trainer. She most recently worked in Sudan on an EU funded project with the British Council and Sudan Ministry of Education. This involved developing an English Curriculum for Primary and Secondary schools and delivering in-service training to teachers and supervisors across the country.
She has also worked in South Sudan building the capacity of State governments in English Language and Administration skills, and as a Language and Training Consultant for the National Parliament of Timor Leste.
As part of a UNDP funded education development program in West Papua, Indonesia, Louise headed the English Language Teaching department and developed a Curriculum for Teacher training which is now accredited by the Indonesian government and taught in colleges across the country.
Louise has a Masters in International and Community Development, as well as a degree in Anthropology and Philosophy, a Diploma in Education and a CELTA.
She is passionate about developing the potential of students so they can contribute positively to their communities.
