Max has 18 years of experience working in the EFL industry. After graduating from Goldsmiths College (UK) in 2001, he gained a CELTA (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults). He subsequently obtained an MEd and an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia).
Max has worked with for-profit and non-for-profit organisations. Positions he has held include teaching English for AMIDEAST in Yemen and Iraq, working in a teacher training programme for Tibetan English teachers in China, managing an in-house English training programme for UNDP in Laos, leading an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) programme in two universities in Mongolia, and working with UNICEF in a programme designed to improve the quality of teaching and learning in primary schools in Bangladesh. Other countries he has worked in are Thailand, East Timor, and Qatar.
Now, Max is working at bringing his qualifications and experience in Business Studies and Project Management into the EFL world, designing and running business courses that cater for English language learners.
