BP Apprentices – Job Well Done

A celebration was held at HIE Friday 29th January. In attendance were the BP Technicians along with Fatima Boye from BP Mauritania. The event was to mark the successful completion of a one year course in English language development for the Technicians who are on a 4-year path to job qualification and full competency.

After a brief presentation, the Technicians were addressed by the commandant, Col. Mohamed Lemine Zamel; further speeches were made by Gerry McKeown, Khadijetou Vadel (Group 2) and Fatima Boye. Refreshments were served and a beautiful cake with the slogan ‘Job Well Done’ was duly cut and eaten.

Our thanks to all the administration, catering and support staff who all contributed to the successful running and completion of this important programme.
