Internship at the Fund of the Women’s Savings and Credit Group

HIE student Mohamed Mustapha Haj Sidi has just completed his 8-week internship at The Fund of the Women’s Savings and Credit Group here in Nouakchott.  HIE actively encourages all third year students to participate in the internship programme.

Lead by Mr Mamoudou Diallo and his team, the Women’s Savings and Credit Group is a local organisation which offers financial help to women in Mauritania for various personal and business projects. It offers a vital lifeline to small-scale, rural economies and promotes women in business. Mohamed was involved in all aspects of the organisation’s work and gained valuable office and interpersonal skills.
