HIE Higher Institute of English
John was born and raised in London, England. After completing his degree, he worked for several years in sales and marketing management with one of Europe’s largest holiday tour operators.
It was on a business trip to Lanzarote that he first got the idea of changing careers and becoming an English teacher. He has worked in many countries including the Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Qatar and Libya.
He jained HIE in the summer of 2018. He jained the team with over 20 years teaching experience in very wide range of settings. He has taught from school children up to high-level university courses. He is also a qualified University of Cambridge examiner for speaking and writing skills.
In his free-time he enjoys walking, mountain hiking, socializing, engaging in local community activities, writing and international travel.
